Weingut Fritz Hirtzberger Singerriedel Riesling Smaragd 2021 is a single-vineyard Riesling white wine from the Wachau region of Austria. Smaragd denotes grapes picked with the highest level of ripeness and is considered the highest quality level of the wines of Wachau. A blend of seven different parcels extending from the top to the bottom of the steep, rocky Singerriedel vineyard, this 2021 Riesling is structured, with hugely impressive texture and breadth. Huge ageing potential, too. "This very concentrated and ripe, yet poised dry Riesling has a huge spectrum of fruit aromas, with all the colours of stone fruit, plus mandarin-orange and papaya notes.
