Forward thinking Bodegas Frontonio are producing wines and gaining plaudits at an alarming rate. Embracing the very best of the traditional and the modern, the team are injecting new energy into some of Spain`s oldest grape varieties and production techniques. El Jardin de las Iguales is a blend of Grenache and Macabeo from 98 year old vines planted on a mixture of slate and limestone. Fruit is hand-picked and foot-stomped before fermentation with indigenous yeasts and 14 months ageing in French oak.
