Based in Piedmont, Travaglini Gattinara is a prominent, family-owned wine producer. The estate`s primary focus lies in crafting Nebbiolo-based wines, sourced from 44 hectares of meticulously cultivated vineyards in Gattinara. Established in 1920 by Clemente Travaglini, the estate`s management was passed on to his son, Arturo Travaglini, in 1958. Today, Cinzia Travaglini leads the operations and her husband, Massimo Collauto, is currently the chief winemaker. This particular bottling hails from the 1964 vintage, and it boasts a mature and elegant character. While the 1964 vintage might not be as legendary as the 1961 vintage, the wine still represents a fine example of a well-aged Nebbiolo
