Situated just beyond the boundaries of the Ribera del Duero wine region, Bodegas Mauro has been in operation since 1978, boasting a cellar dating back to the 17th century. Covering around 80 hectares, the estate vineyards in Tudela de Duero and Santibáñez de Valcorba are planted with two grape varieties. Tempranillo and Syrah. Mauro VS is a 100% Tempranillo sourced from two vineyards. The grapes from each vineyard underwent separate fermentation in stainless-steel tanks with indigenous yeast and were then matured in French oak barrels for 26 months.
