Bodegas Mauro is a premium winery established in 1978 in the province of Valladolid, in the Ribera del Duero region. VS is a reserva style bottling of Tinto Fino (aka Tempranillo) sourced from two vineyards, one in Traspinedo of around 70 years of age, and a younger site in Tudela de Duero. Mauro VS is matured in French and American barriques for 26 months and the resulting wine is powerful, dense and lengthy, with an immense core of concentrated black fruits, subtle herbal nuances and complex savoury depth.
