The Unknown 44 Year Old House of Hazelwood Charles Gordon Collection

‘The Unknown’ forms part of the House of Hazelwood Autumn Collection, which was unveiled in October 2022. Distilled in 1978 and blended in 1989, this blended scotch whisky has been marrying together for over three decades in a single sherry butt. The nose is opulent and seductive, with hints of woody spice, orange zest and a touch of caramel. The palate is truly indulgent, featuring sweet notes of butterscotch tempered by citrus fruit. ‘The Unknown’ was bottled at 43.3% ABV and limited to only 143 bottles.
